A little Cranky Contraption made by my daughter. I love these little kinetic sculptures, they allow such freedom of creation, and embody some tricky engineering and lend themselves beautifully to iterative development, because of the low-cost of change.
Here’s her first interation, it was a bit more of a cranky slug. She later decided she wanted more of an up-and-down motion, and the cranky caterpillar was born.
